Sediments Exposed by Glacier Melt Begin Emitting Greenhouse Gases Over Time
UF researchers have led a study that shows that as land is exposed by melting glaciers, chemical reactions in the newly uncovered glacial sediments initially suppress greenhouse gas emissions.
