The NSF I-Corps Southeast Hub, in partnership with the Florida Semiconductor Institute and regional universities including UCF, USF, and FIU, is excited to announce a Semiconductor Cohort launching in Spring 2026, strategically aligned with the Florida Semiconductor Summit. This 7-week program invites researchers, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and companies to transform semiconductor innovations into market-ready solutions through the proven I-Corps customer discovery process. Participants will benefit from tailored mentorship by experienced industry experts, gaining critical insights into market demands and customer needs to refine their technologies for real-world applications.
The cohort fosters robust regional collaboration, connecting participants with leading academic institutions, industry partners, and potential investors, enhancing opportunities for technology transfer and commercialization. Researchers and entrepreneurs will develop skills to explore practical pathways to transition innovations from lab to market while building a business model that can be helpful for commercialization. The program supports regional economic growth by driving innovation, building entrepreneurial skills and supporting Florida as a hub for semiconductor advancement.
Open to all, this cohort provides a dynamic platform to accelerate innovation, forge strategic partnerships, and make a lasting impact on the global semiconductor landscape.
