Lee and Rashidi Named 2025 BMES Fellow (UF BME)

Dr. Lee Murfee, Professor & Associate Chair for Undergraduate Studies, and Dr. Parisa Rashidi, Professor, UF Research Foundation Professor, and Co-Director of the Intelligent Critical Care Center, have been named 2025 Fellows of the Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES).

The BMES Fellow designation is among the Society’s highest honors, recognizing individuals who have made transformative contributions to the field of biomedical engineering and demonstrated exceptional leadership within BMES. Murfee and Rashidi are part of an elite class of inductees who will be recognized at the BMES Annual Meeting in San Diego this October.
