The Replication Prize is a competition hosted by the NIH Common Fund, in partnership with NASA’s Tournament Lab, to improve the replicability of biomedical research. It invites submissions in two areas: (1) identifying high-impact research areas that require replication studies, and (2) showcasing effective strategies that teams already use to integrate replication into their ongoing work.
The total prize purse is $850,000, awarded across both tracks. Eligibility includes U.S. citizens or permanent residents (or teams led by one), with non-U.S. members allowed but not eligible for prize money. Participants must also intend to form or be part of a U.S.-based startup.
The submission deadline is February 4, 2026. TO begin your application visit the webpage on Challenge.gov.
