You don’t want to run afoul of labor and employment laws. Join Gainesville GrayRobinson to learn the top 10 things you need to know to protect your startup. This event is open to the public. Please register by noon on February 18th. 

The Gainesville GrayRobinson team will cover the primary labor and employment laws which emerging businesses must comply with and often run afoul with, by covering the basics of each law and practical advice for compliance. For example, the team will discuss the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and when an executive, independent contractor, or intern may be owed a minimum wage and overtime by start-ups under the FLSA.

The goal is to raise awareness of these laws so the innovative ideas and heart poured into startups are not overshadowed by costly and avoidable government investigations or litigation.
