Patti works with Licensing Officer Hera Lichtenbeld, assisting in portfolio management for the life science area. She and Hera manage invention disclosures, patent prosecution, MTAs, CDAs, research agreements and licensing agreements for UF innovators in the life sciences. Many of the innovators are those working in the medical and biomedical disciplines.
Patti is a returning retiree, having previously worked eighteen years in our Tech Licensing office. She worked at UF Innovate | Tech Licensing until 2021, and then returned to UF in her current role in 2024.
Patti’s background prior to Tech Licensing includes several years in the legal profession with a career as a Paralegal.
Patti is a “project” person. In her spare time, she enjoys landscaping the yard and doing other home improvement projects.
