In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate spotlights GatorPitch Miami’s Panelists’ Choice winner, ZoraSafe. The ZoraSafe team has developed an AI-powered platform that stops everyday scams in real time. It teaches users, protects them, and prevents fraud before they even click.

“ZoraSafe is fighting back against online scammers. We’re here at GatorPitch to learn more. Tell us a little bit more about who you are and what you do,” said Elora Duong, host of UF Innovate.

Receive ‘Panelists’ Choice’ Awards at GatorPitch (UF News) https://innovate.research.ufl.edu/gator-pitch-2025/ Thu, 13 Nov 2025 19:59:35 +0000 https://innovate.research.ufl.edu/?p=20649 UF Innovate’s GatorPitch returned to Miami for its third iteration, presenting a fresh cohort of University of Florida startups that span healthcare, education, finance, national security and artificial intelligence. Six finalists — including three student‑led companies and three UF companies — pitched their ideas to more than 100 attendees from Miami’s investor and entrepreneurial community.

The event was hosted in partnership with Mana Tech and the Venture Mentoring Team (VMT). The six finalists received personalized mentorship from Etienne Gillard, the Head of Ventures at Mana Tech, and the VMT’s network of mentors.
