What if plastic waste from 3D printing became part of the solution? In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate host Bethany Gaffey visits the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering to meet Kayla Raya, CEO of Windup—a student-led startup reimagining how we recycle 3D printing waste.

“What is circular manufacturing? We’re here with the US Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department to learn more. Kayla, tell us more about who you are and what you do,” said Gaffey.

“I’m Kayla. I’m the CEO of Windup, a student startup that’s working on repurposing 3D print filament,” said Kayla Raya, CEO of Windup.

“Tell us more about Windup and how what you’re doing is different than what’s already on the market,” said Gaffey.
