The ZoraSafe team has developed an AI-powered platform that stops everyday scams in real time. It teaches users, protects them, and prevents fraud before they even click.</p>

<p>In this week’s Tech Tuesday, UF Innovate&#8217;s host Bethany Gaffey meets Dr. Patrick Traynor, a professor in the Computer and Information Science and Engineering (CISE) department at the University of Florida. His work focuses on cybersecurity, specifically exploring ways to combat the rising threats of deepfakes and digital scams.</p>



<p>“Digital scams are on the rise. We’re here with the Florida Institute for Cybersecurity Research to learn more. Patrick, tell us more about who you are and what you do,” said Gaffey.</p>



<p>“My name is Patrick Traynor, and I’m a professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science and Engineering here at UF. A big part of my work is on cybersecurity, and in particular, on deepfakes,” said Dr. Patrick Traynor, professor at the University of Florida.</p>
