The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is hosting a free, virtual Stakeholder Application Readiness Training (StART) workshop to help individuals navigate the patent application process. This three-day event will take place from August 19–21, 2025, running daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. ET.

The workshop covers the fundamentals of utility patent filings, including how to conduct prior art searches, draft and write claims, complete required forms, and use Patent Center and DOCX formats.
