This global prize competition is hosted by the U.S. Army through the xTech Program,and is designed to identify and accelerate mature autonomous ground systems and launched effects technologies that can rapidly transition to operational use by the U.S. Army and allied forces.

The opportunity is for eligible small and large businesses worldwide. The competition runs in two phases.  Phase 2 includes a live experimentation event in March 2026 in Grafenwöhr, Germany, where finalists demonstrate their technologies to Army, DoW, and NATO subject-matter experts. The Army plans to award up to $2 million total, including $25,000 to up to 15 finalists and $275,000 to up to five final winners, with potential rapid follow-on delivery within 90 days.
