In this Lunch & Learn, Sean Combs and Taylor Col of GrayRobinson will cover the basics for protecting your inventions through patent filings in the United States and abroad. They will cover the timing of disclosures and patent filings as well as the considerations you should account for to ensure that you are covering the jurisdictions you need protection in as well as the jurisdictions you should skip.

Sean Combs

As an intellectual property law attorney, Sean Combs delivers strategic counsel and comprehensive legal services to innovators and businesses across a wide range of industries. He has significant experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), particularly for inventions involving mechanical, medical devices, energy, software, financial, and environmental technologies. His technical knowledge spans complex systems such as mining and drilling equipment, oil and gas technologies, pumps and pumping systems, robotics, drones, generators, engines, battery and solar technologies, wind and fluid energy systems, and water and wastewater treatment processes.
