Need Help Preparing Your SBIR/STTR Application? Apply for the NIH Applicant Assistance Program, a free, 10-week mentoring program for new SBIR/STTR applicants.
Preparing your first Small Business Innovation Research or Small Business Technology Transfer (SBIR/STTR) application can be daunting and time consuming. The NIH Applicant Assistance Program (AAP) is a free, 10.5-week program that helps small businesses apply for Phase I SBIR or STTR funding. AAP provides participants with a dedicated coach with expertise in preparing NIH small business grants and services such as application needs assessment, mentoring, application preparation support, and application review. Register for Office Hours: September 15 at 2:00 p.m. ET
The NIH will begin accepting applications for the January 5, 2023, SBIR/STTR application cycle. The deadline for applications is Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. ET. Apply through the AAP Application Portal, which opens on Friday, August 5, 2022.
