UF Innovate | Accelerate client company CasNx recently published research in Nature Biotechnology introducing ψDNA, the world’s first DNA-guided CRISPR-Cas12 system. The technology replaces traditional RNA guides with engineered DNA guides, which may offer improved stability, lower manufacturing costs, and greater scalability for therapeutic applications. CasNx is applying the platform to gene-edit donor organs before transplant to help reduce rejection, inflammation, and viral infection.
